Asus Vivotab 8 M81C

Asus has unveiled a new Windows Phone 8.1 tablet, the Vivotab 8 (M81C). The firm is yet to announce availability and pricing details.

The new Asus tablet features an 8-inch LED-backlit IPS display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. It is powered by an 1.8GHz 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM or 2GB (region dependent).

The Vivotab 8 M81C sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with no flashlight, and 2-megapixel secondary front camera. There's 32GB built-in storage onboard which is expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card.

On the connectivity front, the Asus Vivotab 8 features Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and 3G. It is backed by a 15.2Wh, which is capable of delivering up to 8 hours of battery life.
