Acer Unveils Windows Phone 8.1 And Android 4.4 KitKat Running Tablets At IFA

Acer Iconia Tab 8 W

Acer has unveil three new tablets at the IFA event which started today in Berlin, the Iconia Tab 8 W, Iconia Tab 10, and Iconia One 8. The first runs Windows Phone 8.1 while the others runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The tablets will be available starting from October at a price tag of $149, $199, and $197 respectively in EMEA countries.

The Iconia Tab 8 W features an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280*800 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor (1.33GHz, up to 1.83GHz) slammed with 1GB of RAM. There's 8GB built-in storage onboard which is expandable via MicroSD. The 8-inch tablet comes with Microsoft Office 365 Personal apps and sports a full size Brunch Keyboard.

Acer Iconia Tab 10
Unlike the Iconia Tab 8 W, the Iconia Tab 10 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and features a 10.1-inch IPS display with Zero Air Gap Technology, and a full-HD screen resolution. It is powered by a quad-core processor MediaTek processor of unknown clock speed. While the Iconia One 8 also features an 8-inch IPS display with Zero Air Gas technology and HD screen resolution.
