Swipe Sense With Fingerprint Scanner

Swipe has launched a new high-end Android smartphone, the Sense. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999 (approx $167). Notably, the Sense is the first phone by the company to feature a Fingerprint scanner and at the lowest price too. The Fingerprint sensor is located below the rear camera, in the like of the Samsung Galax S5.

The Swipe Sense features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a qHD resolution of 540x960 pixels, it offers dual SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The new Spice phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor of unknown chipset, coupled with 1GB of RAM. There is 8GB inbuilt storage onboard which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD.

It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 3.2-megapixel secondary front camera. Connectivity options included are Bluetooth. Wifi, 3G, GPS. and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2250mAh Li-ion battery.

Earlier this month, iBerry launched its first Fingerprint enabled smartphone, the Auxus Note 5.5, at a price tag of Rs 13,990 (approx $234). The device runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat and features a 5.5-inch HD display, 1.7GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera.
