Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+

The Korean tech giant Samsung, has unveiled a new Galaxy S5 variant in Singapore, the Galaxy S5 4G+. The smartphone is exclusively launched on Singapore telecom operator SingTel, and will be available starting from August 23 within a price range of SGD 688 (approx $553) depending on contract. The Galaxy S5 4G+ specs is not so different from the original Galaxy S5, but there are minor changes.

The Galaxy S5 4G+ features a 5.1-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display (1080x1920), which makes a bit lower when compared with the Galaxy S5 LTE-A which was launched in June. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box overlay with the company's custom skin UI. The new smartphone is powered by a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, slammed with 2GB of RAM, and comes with 16GB of built-in storage which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD.

It sports a 16-megapixel rear camera, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Galaxy S5 4G+ will be capable of rendering up to 300Mbps via the telecom LTE network which is expected to be launch on Saturday. Other connectivity options included are Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, WiFi, GPS, NFC, Infrared. The new Galaxy phone also sports a Fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor, and it's waterproof and dustproof certified.

The smartphone will be available in four colour variants - Electric Blue, Shimmer White, Copper Gold, and Charcoal Black.
