Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Samsung has finally unveil the long rumoured Galaxy Alpha, after so many leaked specs and photos. The smartphone tottering its premium built metal body will be globally available starting from September. The company's has lay much emphasis on its metal frame chassis, which they said it's built using sophisticated and compact construction techniques. Pricing details is not yet revealed.

The Galaxy Alpha features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a HD resolution of 720x1280 pixels, and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The new Galaxy S5 Alpha is powered by an octa-core (quad 1.8GHz + quad 1.3GHz), 2.5GHz quad-core processor (Country Specific) unknown chipset, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of built-in storage with no external storage support. Under the home key is a fingerprint scanner, and there is also a heart rate monitor at its rear.

The new Galaxy Alpha sports a 12-megapixel autofocus rear camera, and 2.1-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options included with the device are Bluetooth v4.0, WiFi, 3G, GPS, NFC and Micro-USB. The Galaxy Alpha support LTE Cat.6, which is capable of producing a super fast internet speed of up to 300Mbps.

Unlike the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Alpha doesn't comes with dust and water resistance. The smartphone will be available in five colour variants - Sleek Silve, Charcoal Black, Scuba Blue, Frosted Gold, and Dazzling White.
