Micromax has added a new low-budget Android smartphone to its "Bolt" series in India, the Bolt A082.. The phone is listed on the company website at a price tag of Rs 4,499 (approx $75) and will be available in coming days.

The Bolt A082 features a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, it offers dual SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box, which makes it in league with other Micromax KitKat running phone like Unite 2, Bolt A065, Canvas Engage, and Canvas L A108.

The new Bolt A082 Android phone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor, slammed with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of built-in storage which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD.

The new smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 0.3-megapixel secondary front camera. Connectivity options include are Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, AGPS, GPRS/EDGE, and 3.5mm Audio jack. It packs a 1700mAh Li-ion battery, rated to deliver up to 160 hours of standby time. The Bolt A082 also features a dual front speaker, the likes of which are found on Canvas Fire A104 and Lava Iris 360 Music.
