Gionee Gpad G5

Gionee has launched a new Android phablet under its "Gpad" series in India, the Gpad G5. The phone will be available starting from next week at a price tag of Rs 14,999 (approx $250).

The Gpad G5 features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 720x1280 pixels, its screen is protected by AGC Dragontail glass. The phablet offers dual SIM functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

With its 1.5GHz hexa-core Cortex A7 processor, the Gpad G5 can handle any task you throw at it. There's an 8GB built-in storage onboard which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD.

The new Gionee phablet sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and 2-megapixel front camera for video chat. Connectivity options include are Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, GPS/A-GPS, and FM radio. It is backed by a 2400mAh battery.
