Xolo Play 6X-1000

The Chinese phone maker Xolo has launched a new smartphone, the Play 6X-1000. The smartphone was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 14,499 (approx $242).

The Play 6X-1000 features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels and 294ppi pixel density, it offers dual SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. There's 8GB inbuilt storage onboard, which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

The Xolo Play 6X-1000 is powered by 1.5GHz hexa-core MediaTek processor, slammed with 2GB of RAM. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options on the Xolo Play 6X-1000 include WiFi with Hotspot, 3G, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and USB OTG.

The smartphone is backed by 2100mAh Li-ion battery, which is rated to deliver up to 25 hours of talk time on 2G, and 15 hours of talk time on 3G networks.
