Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A

Samsung has unveil an exclusive LTE-A version of Samsung Galaxy S5 in South Korea at a price of SKW 940,500 (approx $924). Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S5, the LTE-A version features higher specifications and was predicted to be the long rumoured Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED QHD display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels, it runs latest Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, overlayed with Company's TouchWiz UI.

Notably, the Samsung S5 LTE-A is the first smartphone in Samsung's line-up to feature a QHD display.

The new LTE-A version of Samsung Galaxy S5 is powered by 2.5GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, packed with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

The new Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A sports a 16-megapixel rear camera, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It support South Korea 4G LTE-A band, which was capable of rendering a download speed of up to 225Mbps. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, WiFi, NFC and Micro-USB. The smartphone is dustproof and waterproof certify with IP67 certification.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A also comes with fingerprint scanner and heart rate sensor. Other features include Power Saving Mode, S Health, Kids Mode and Private Mode. There's currently no word concerning the availability of the device outside South Korea, we can only hope.
