HP Pro x2 612 with Detachable Keyboard
HP has unveiled its new laptop/tablet hybrid device, the Pro x2 612.

The Pro x2 612 comes in two variants, a stand-alone HP Pro tablet 612 without a keyboard and the Pro x2 612 which has an detachable keyboard. The HP Pro x2 612 and Pro 612 tablets both runs Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro and provides support for Windows 7. These comes with a digitize pen stored directly with the display and offers 4G LTE, USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth, Micro SD card reader, and Micro SIM as connectivity options.

HP BIOS and HP Client Security are also included as security options. The HP Pro x2 612 and Pro 612 tablet comes with dual HD webcams and features a fingerprint scanner and Smart Card Reader.

The HP Pro x2 612 features a 12.5-inch display, and comes in two processor variant, Intel Core i3 and Intel Core i5. The device can also be purchased with an HD or Full HD screen.

The tablet-notebook comes with a powered keyboard, that when use with the tablet gives the device 14 hours of battery life. The power keyboard features a touch pad and has a VGA portt, two USB 3.0 ports, a RJ45 network port, and a full SD card reader.

The HP Pro X2 612 will be available starting from September, no details regarding pricing.
