HP 7 Plus Android Tablet With 7-inch Display And Quad Core CPU Launched

HP Plus 7 HP has launched its budget HP 7 Plus tablet today in the US at a price of $99.99, and has been listed on the company's US store as available. The availability details of the tablet in other countries are yet to be known, we aren't sure of the tablet will be launch in other region. The HP 7 plus features a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixel and 170ppi pixel density, that's a low res for such a big screen. The tablet runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, Android 4.4 KitKat would have would have been more preferable. It is powered by 1GHz quad core new HP7 Plus tablet is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. The HP 7 Plus as 8GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD. It sports a 2-megapixel camera rear camera and 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front facing camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack, while other connectivity options are not yet known. The HP 7 Plus is backed by a 2800mAh Li-Po battery that is rated to deliver up to 5 hours and 30 minutes of battery life and is available in only Silver colour. The tablet measures 7.58x4.8x0.32mm and weighs roughly 300 grams. HP is also touting the free 25GB lifetime cloud storage courtesy Box, as well as the preloaded apps on the 7 Plus tablet, namely Kingsoft Office, Skype, HP ePrint, HP File Manager, and HP Connected Photo by Snapfish.
