LG G3 Leak

HTC and Samsung latest flagship phones have both hit the shops and Sony's offering is closely following behind, but there's still one more device to keep an eye on.

LG have special plans for its next premium phone, with the LG company telling Engadget that the phone will be boasting a Quad HD display. The LG display will offer a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels which is what the Samsung Galaxy S5 was rumored to be coming with before it was released, but instead it arrived with full-HD (1920 x 1080) screen resolution.

LG's next handset is tipped to offer a 5.5-inch display, which would put the pixel density at 534ppi. Other rumors surrounding the LG G3 includes a 32GB of built-in storage, a microSD slot for storage expansion with support of up to 64GB, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and a 13-megapixel rear camera. The original leak claimed the device would be coming with a 2.3GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The exact release date of the device is not yet known, the release date which was originally speculated is May, but considering the LG G2 was launched in August last year, that would seem like a very quick turn-around of devices, so we'll have to wait and see what happens in the next couple of months.
